Tejashwi Yadav Targets Nitish Kumar Over Teacher Recruitment Cut

Bihar Election 2025 political battle Nitish Kumar Tejashwi Yadav

As the Bihar Election 2025 draws closer, political activities have gained momentum. Parties like the NDA and Grand Alliance are holding continuous meetings to finalize seat-sharing deals. Amid these talks, a sharp war of words has erupted between Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav.

Tejashwi Yadav accused the NDA government of reducing teacher recruitment posts. He claimed that after the Mahagathbandhan government collapsed, the NDA promised to recruit over ten lakh teachers under the Teacher Recruitment Examination-4 (TRE-4). However, one lakh posts were suddenly cut down.

Tejashwi highlighted his 22-month tenure, saying he recruited over one lakh teachers without any paper leaks under the DD-16 scheme. He criticized Nitish Kumar for failing to keep promises and accused him of confusion in governance.

Meanwhile, Nitish Kumar’s old tweet resurfaced, where he directed the Education Department to speed up the TRE-4 exam and confirmed 35% reservation for women from Bihar.

With both leaders trading accusations, Bihar Election 2025 is shaping into a heated political battle focused on education and employment issues.
