Hyderabad: The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) has intensified its campaign for the Jubilee Hills by-election, treating it as a prestige battle to regain lost political ground in Telangana. Party working president K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) and senior leader T. Harish Rao, often referred to as the “Baava-Bammardi” duo, have taken charge of the campaign strategy.
KTR has already held division-wise review meetings with local cadres to strengthen booth-level coordination, while Harish Rao is set to join the campaign from tomorrow, marking his formal entry into the by-poll drive.
Both leaders will attend a key constituency-level meeting to rally party workers and outline the road map for victory. The BRS candidate, Maganti Sunitha, will file her nomination on October 15. The party aims to use this election to re-energize its base and signal a comeback after recent setbacks.
