Hyderabad: Telangana Roads and Buildings Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy has reportedly written a letter to Chief Secretary Ramakrishna Rao urging him not to post a particular IAS officer to his department. The minister expressed strong reservations, citing the officer’s controversial track record and tendency to create administrative hurdles.

Komatireddy is said to have conveyed that the officer’s inclusion in his department could lead to unnecessary complications and disruptions in departmental functioning. “He is known for creating trouble in every matter. Such an officer should not be assigned to my department,” the minister reportedly stated.

He further remarked that it would have been better if he had been consulted before the appointment decision was made. The development has sparked political buzz, highlighting growing tensions between ministers and bureaucrats in Telangana’s administrative setup.
