At a press meeting in Patna, BJP’s Vidyanchal Rai said Shweta listed her address in Chandauli, Uttar Pradesh during the 2020 elections. Now, she shows a Bihar address. The BJP sees this as a clear mismatch. The party has filed a written complaint with the state’s Chief Electoral Officer.
Shweta Suman, representing Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), is fighting against Sangeeta Devi of BJP. Mohania is a Scheduled Caste reserved seat under the Sasaram Lok Sabha constituency. The Election Commission will soon decide on the complaint.
