Telangana Minister Jupally Krishna Rao strongly lashed out at KTR for alleging that IAS officer Rizvi became a victim in the liquor tender dispute. Jupally condemned KTR’s remarks, accusing him of unnecessarily politicizing the issue.
He said that there is a deliberate attempt to malign the image of CM Revanth Reddy’s son-in-law and his own son, adding that such personal attacks are unacceptable. Taking a sharp dig, Jupally remarked that when it comes to liquor scams, the Kavitha-KCR family holds the “patent rights”, suggesting that BRS leaders have no moral ground to point fingers at others.
Jupally further announced that he will file a defamation case against KTR for making baseless accusations linking him to the alleged liquor tender scam. The issue has now intensified the political slugfest between BRS and the ruling Congress in Telangana
