Hyderabad: BRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao has asked party workers to highlight the failures of the Congress government over the past 22 months. He urged them to explain how welfare schemes initiated during the BRS government have been discontinued. Leaders were advised to visit every house, raise awareness, and distribute ‘Baaki’ (dues) cards.
KCR pointed out that Congress stopped schemes like KCR Kits and sheep rearing initiatives for Yadavs. He said fee reimbursements and basic amenities in residential schools were neglected. He added that the BRS government continued providing benefits to people even during financial losses caused by COVID-19.
Addressing a strategy meeting at Erravelli farmhouse, attended by KT Rama Rao, Harish Rao, Maganti Sunitha, and senior leaders, KCR stressed the importance of securing a large majority for Sunitha. He added that voters are angry due to Congress’ false promises and neglect of the six guarantees.
KCR criticised Congress for fielding a candidate with a criminal background in Jubilee Hills. He expressed confidence that Hyderabad voters will decisively defeat the candidate. Party leaders reported a positive response from constituents, and KCR urged relentless campaigning until polling day on November 11.
