Only a few days before the Bihar elections, Tejashwi Yadav has faced a big setback in Bihar elections. Former RJD Mahila Morcha president Pratima Kushwaha has quit RJD and joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Her switch is seen as a blow to Tejashwi’s campaign efforts.
After joining the BJP, Pratima Kushwaha accused RJD of ignoring grassroots workers and promoting nepotism. She said Tejashwi Yadav only talks about providing jobs but also demands land in return. She added that all internal reservations in RJD are limited to family members.
Pratima praised the NDA government for giving real reservations to women. Her move exposes internal discontent within RJD and highlights leadership issues that could weaken the Grand Alliance in the coming Bihar elections.
