The Waqf Bill in Bihar elections has triggered a sharp political fight. RJD MLC Qari Sohaib said during a rally that Tejashwi Yadav will “tear up all bills” if he becomes Chief Minister. His remarks have set off major controversy.
At the Khagaria rally, Sohaib urged voters to support Tejashwi Yadav and ignore BJP’s claims. He told people from the minority community not to be misled. Sohaib warned that those opposing the Waqf Bill must be dealt with. He added that Tejashwi’s government would bring humanity, love, and unity to the state.
BJP leader Amit Malviya reacted quickly. He shared a video of Sohaib’s speech and said the RJD wants to misuse the Waqf Act for land grabs. Malviya called it “RJD’s jungle raj.”
The Waqf Bill Bihar elections debate has now become a major campaign issue. All parties—RJD, BJP, JD(U), and LJP—are clashing over it as Bihar heads into a heated contest.
