Bihar Elections are witnessing intense competition across all assembly seats. In Katihar district, the Balaram Assembly seat stood out with a massive victory margin. CPI(ML) candidate Mehboob Alam won this seat with a record 53,597 votes, defeating Barun Kumar Jha of the Vikassheel Insaan Party. This landslide win has made Mehboob Alam a key name in the Bihar Elections results.
Another strong result came from the Sandesh Assembly seat, where RJD’s Kiran Devi secured victory with a margin of 50,607 votes. Similar scenes unfolded in several constituencies. CPI(ML)’s Manoj Manzil won Agiaon by 48,550 votes, while RJD’s Shambhunath Yadav claimed Brahmapur by 51,141 votes.
AIMIM’s Akhtarul Imam triumphed in Amour with 52,515 votes, and Mohammad Anj Nayami won Bahadurganj by 45,215 votes. The BJP also showed strength with Pawan Kumar Yadav’s win in Kahalgaon. These wide margins show a changing voter trend in Bihar.
