Priyanka Gandhi Bihar rally speeches in Lakhisarai and Saharsa drew large crowds. She strongly attacked Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s rule, saying that Bihar saw no real progress in the last 20 years. She called the Rs 10,000 given to Jeevika Didis before the elections a political bribe. Priyanka urged women to keep the money but to vote wisely.
At another meeting in Saharsa, Priyanka Gandhi said people in states ruled by Congress and the Grand Alliance are happy. She promised that Bihar will also have a Grand Alliance government soon. She added that half of Bihar’s population is moving to other states for jobs. “Be proud of being a Bihari,” she said, “You built this country, yet your government does not respect you.”
