Neeraj Yadav, grandson of Mokama’s strongman Dularchand Yadav, has given up his dream of studying MBBS after his grandfather’s tragic death. The incident happened during the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections when a violent clash broke out between supporters of Anant Singh and Piyush Priyadarshi. Dularchand Yadav, a powerful local leader, was killed in the violence, leaving the family shattered.
Neeraj Yadav said he was preparing for MBBS, but now nothing seems possible. His grandfather always wanted him to become a doctor and his brother an IPS officer. Now, Neeraj has decided to stay back and look after the family’s affairs. He said, “I will now take care of my grandfather’s empire and educate my brother to fulfill his dream.”
Police reports mention that Dularchand was shot and later run over by a vehicle. His family named former MLA Anant Singh and Jan Suraj candidate Piyush Priyadarshi in the FIR. Bihar Police have already arrested Anant Singh and are preparing to detain Priyadarshi.
The entire Mokama region remains tense as the investigation continues into the shocking Bihar tragedy.
