The Andhra Pradesh Government will provide ₹2.5 lakh financial assistance under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) scheme. Deputy Speaker and Undi MLA Raghurama Krishnam Raju announced the scheme on Monday. Eligible citizens have been urged to apply to take advantage of this government support.
Applicants can use this aid to construct their own homes on private land or government-allotted patta land. Officials emphasized that this opportunity should be fully utilized. Citizens are required to register their details at village or municipal ward secretariats to become part of the scheme.
The financial aid will be provided jointly by the Central and State governments. Eligible applicants can receive the support directly for construction purposes. Authorities urged everyone to complete their registration accurately to ensure smooth assistance.
Deputy Speaker Raghurama Krishnam Raju requested citizens to submit their details by November 30. He highlighted that the scheme aligns with Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu’s commitment to making home ownership a reality for everyone. Applicants are encouraged to approach local secretariats and avail the benefits before the deadline.
