According to the Ranchi Meteorological Department, easterly winds from the Bay of Bengal will push the minimum temperature up by 3–4°C. Ranchi, which recently recorded 8°C, may now see 11–12°C. Some districts may even touch 16°C. People can expect mild comfort, although cold winds will continue to trouble early-morning commuters.
Doctors at RIMS Hospital observed a sudden jump in brain stroke cases during the recent cold spell. High BP patients faced greater risk, and doctors urged them to stay cautious despite the temperature rise. Cold, cough and seasonal infections also increased in the past week.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) expects a gradual rise in the minimum temperature for the next three days. After that, the weather will stay stable for at least 48 hours with no major fluctuations.
