Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy appeared before the Hyderabad Nampally Court on Thursday for a hearing in the disproportionate assets case. Heavy security was placed around the premises as the court took up arguments related to the long-pending matter. Supporters gathered in large numbers, creating tense moments near the court entrance.
At the same time, Y.S. Sunitha, daughter of the late Y.S. Vivekananda Reddy, arrived at the court for hearings linked to the Viveka murder case. She presented her arguments against accused A8, A7, and A5, urging the court to continue the CBI investigation. Her presence drew media attention as the two high-profile personalities attended hearings in separate cases.
Despite being close relatives, Jagan and Sunitha did not greet each other at the court. Both remained focused on their legal proceedings and avoided any interaction. Their silence added intensity to the already charged atmosphere in the court premises.
After completing arguments, both Jagan and Sunitha left the court separately. The hearings in both cases concluded for the day, and further dates are expected soon. Legal teams on both sides stated that they will continue pursuing the cases with full attention.
