The Bihar election vote controversy has created a new debate in the state. The RJD is asking how two winning candidates from two different seats received the same number of votes. The party says this Bihar election vote controversy shows serious problems in the counting process.
The NDA has already formed the new government in Bihar, and ministries have been allotted. But the RJD, which faced a big defeat, is still looking for reasons behind its poor performance. The party is now targeting the Election Commission after noticing identical vote totals in Rajgir and Kudhani seats.
In Rajgir, JDU candidate Kaushal Kishore won with 107,811 votes. In Kudhani, BJP’s Kedar Prasad Gupta also won with 107,811 votes. RJD leaders compared it to two students submitting blank sheets and still getting the same marks.
Earlier, the RJD alleged irregularities in Nabingaar, Agiaon, and Sandesh seats. In all three seats, the number of rejected postal votes was higher than the margin of defeat.
This election has changed Bihar’s political map. BJP won 89 seats, JDU won 85, while the RJD slipped to third place with 25 seats.
