The RJD Notice to Bhojpuri Singers has created a major political discussion in Bihar. The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) sent legal notices to 32 Bhojpuri singers for making negative songs about Lalu Yadav and Tejashwi Yadav during the Bihar elections. The party says these singers tried to harm its image. The RJD Notice to Bhojpuri Singers also asks why legal action should not be taken against them.

According to RJD spokesperson Shakti Singh Yadav, many songs were released just before the elections to influence voters. He said these songs used party names and leaders’ names without permission. Some songs also had violent lines and sharp attacks on the Yadav community. The party claims that several singers are linked to the BJP.

During his election rally in Kaimur, Prime Minister Narendra Modi mentioned these songs and said they were signs of “jungle raj.” He also repeated a line from a promotional song to warn people about extortion if the rival party returned to power.

These Bhojpuri songs spread fast on social media. Many of them used strong language and promoted fear. The RJD believes the songs were part of a planned campaign to damage its reputation before voting.
