Rajasthan Road Accident: Parents and Child Killed in Horrific Crash on NH-89, Driver Absconding

A devastating road accident in Ajmer, Rajasthan, left a family of three dead after a speeding trailer truck collided head-on with their car on National Highway-89. The victims—35-year-old Ram Lal, his wife Kanta Devi (30), and their 11-year-old son Mayank—were returning home to Kayad village after visiting their farm.

According to police, the trailer truck approached from the wrong direction near the Gegal police station area and crashed into the family’s car, leaving it completely mangled. Local residents alerted the authorities, and the injured were rushed to JLN Hospital, where doctors declared all three dead.

The truck driver fled the scene immediately after the collision. Police have kept the bodies in the hospital mortuary for post-mortem and launched a search operation to identify and arrest the accused driver. CCTV footage from nearby locations and the highway is being examined to trace the vehicle and its driver.

The tragic incident has cast a wave of grief across Kayad village, and police say legal action will follow once the accused is apprehended.
