The BCCI has announced Team India for the upcoming Asia Cup, which will begin on September 9 in Dubai. The tournament will be played in the T20 format. Notably, Shreyas Iyer has not been included in the squad. Surya Kumar Yadav will lead the team as captain, with Ruturaj Gaikwad as vice-captain. The squad includes Abhishek, Sanju Samson, Hardik Pandya, Tilak Varma, Shivam Dube, Jitesh Sharma, Rinku Singh, Varun Chakravarthy, Axar Patel, Jasprit Bumrah, Arshdeep Singh, Kuldeep Yadav, and Harshit Rana. The standby players are Yashasvi Jaiswal, Prasidh Krishna, Dhruv Jurel, Riyan Parag, and Washington Sundar.
