Meta has unveiled a new AI-driven voice-dubbing feature that enables creators to reach audiences in different languages. The tool uses generative AI to translate a creator’s voice while maintaining its tone and offers an optional lip-sync function for natural-looking speech.

Currently, the feature is available worldwide for Reels on both Facebook and Instagram. It supports translations between English and Spanish, with more languages expected soon. On Facebook, the tool is limited to creators with over 1,000 followers, while all public Instagram accounts can use it.

To access the feature, creators need to select the “Translate your voice with Meta AI” option before publishing. They can preview the translated version and enable lip-syncing if desired. Viewers will see a pop-up indicating that the video includes AI translation and can opt out via settings.

Meta recommends keeping mouths visible, reducing background music, and avoiding overlapping speech for the best results. The tool can handle up to two speakers effectively.

Additionally, creators will gain access to a performance tracker, helping them analyze how their content performs in different languages and regions. This new feature makes it easier for creators to connect with global audiences.
