New MLAs took oath in the Bihar Assembly on Monday. Chetan Anand Blessings Tejashwi Yadav became the highlight of the day. Chetan Anand, the son of former MP Anand Mohan, took oath as the MLA from Nabinagar. After taking oath, he touched Tejashwi Yadav’s feet and sought his blessings.
This gesture showed Chetan Anand Blessings Tejashwi Yadav as a sign of respect and personal bonding.
Chetan Anand said Tejashwi is like an elder brother. He also touched the feet of Nitish Kumar and Vijay Chaudhary. He said that politics may create differences, but personal relations must stay strong.
During the 2024 political shift, Chetan Anand left the RJD and joined the NDA. In the 2025 election, he won the Nabinagar seat on a JDU ticket by only 112 votes. A total of 235 MLAs were sworn in on Monday.
He also spoke about the tension in Lalu Prasad Yadav’s family. He said disagreements do not end relationships and everyone has freedom to speak.
