Industry Minister Dilip Jaiswal has started a quick review of all MoUs signed in the state. He wants clear and complete MoU information to boost employment and investment. Dilip Jaiswal MoU details are being collected from every department to create one updated list.
Jaiswal directed officials to prepare a full report covering MoUs signed under both NDA and Grand Alliance governments. He stressed faster processing for investor applications and strict timelines at every stage. He also asked for a stronger online portal to make approvals smooth and quick.
Officials explained the working of SIPB and shared updates on Bihar’s Industrial Policy 2016 and the Industrial Investment Promotion Package 2025. Progress in Textile & Leather, Ethanol Promotion, and Logistics policies was also reviewed.
So far, Bihar has seen major MoU activity.
• Shahnawaz Hussain’s tenure brought proposals worth ₹39,000 crore.
• Sameer Mahaseth’s period saw MoUs of ₹50,530 crore.
• Nitish Mishra achieved a record ₹1.81 lakh crore.
Jaiswal now aims to streamline everything and make investment easier in Bihar.
