The leopard’s sudden appearance near the Dharmavati river led to several attacks. Farmers harvesting paddy tried to warn others, but the animal ran towards them and caused injuries. Its movement across National Highway 319 increased panic, and villages under Kochas Nagar Panchayat stayed alert throughout the day.
Rescue teams arrived quickly and placed traps. However, the leopard escaped several times. After hours of chasing, the team finally captured it around 7 PM. People in the region felt relieved after the rescue. Some injured victims are being treated at Sasaram Sadar Hospital.
