Union Minister Kishan Reddy defended the Constitutional Amendment Bill introduced by the NDA government in the Lok Sabha. He said the bill has gained wide support across the country and stressed that it applies equally to all political parties. He questioned why only the Congress party is opposing it.
Reddy criticized the INDI bloc for the way it is handling the issue. He said their reaction shows political insecurity rather than genuine concern for democracy. According to him, leaders facing serious allegations should step down from their posts to protect public trust.
The minister stressed that accountability is essential in public life. He argued that the bill strengthens democratic values and promotes transparency. His remarks have added more heat to the political debate between the ruling NDA and the opposition parties.
