A Patna man hanged himself after facing constant harassment from his wife. The incident took place in Janipur, Phulwari Sharif. The victim, Syed Alam, was only 20 years old. Family members said that the Patna man hanged himself after months of fights and emotional stress.
Syed had married Sadia Parveen a year ago. The couple moved into a rented house in Janipur Bazaar soon after their wedding. Their relationship remained tense from the beginning, and arguments became common. Police said Syed used his wife’s scarf to hang himself.
Syed’s father filed a case accusing his daughter-in-law of murder. Police arrested Sadia and started questioning her. Officers also recovered three diaries from the house. According to police, Sadia wrote these diaries, and they included daily notes, future plans, and shopping lists. Family members claim Syed had not gone to work for three days before his death.
DSP Deepak Kumar confirmed that an FIR has been registered and the investigation is underway.
