On Sunday, westerly winds weakened across the state, slowing down by three to eight kilometers per hour. This slowdown caused a drop in both maximum and minimum temperatures. Sheikhpura recorded the lowest temperature at 8.4°C, while Kishanganj saw the highest at 26.9°C.
Minimum temperatures across Bihar ranged from 8.4°C to 15.8°C. Maximum temperatures stayed between 20.7°C and 26.9°C. Purnia reported the state’s lowest visibility of 450 meters during the foggy period.
In Patna, the minimum temperature fell by 1.2°C on Sunday. Residents will see light fog on Monday morning, but the sky will clear slowly as the day moves forward. Patna recorded a maximum temperature of 24.4°C and a minimum of 11.8°C. With westerly winds weakening, residents can expect mild relief from the cold.
