Adilabad police imposed a strict ban on DJs during Ganesh Navaratri. DSP Jeevan Reddy announced the Adilabad Ganesh Utsav DJ ban on Friday.
He said organizers must take prior permission to use sound boxes and microphones at Ganesh pandals. Police will act firmly if anyone breaks the rule.
The DSP warned that bringing DJs from Maharashtra is not allowed. Officers will seize the equipment and file cases against violators.
He explained that the Adilabad Ganesh Utsav DJ ban aims to reduce noise and prevent inconvenience to the public.
