The election results challenge in Bihar has reached the Patna High Court. Candidates from HAM, RJD, and RLJP have questioned the results of four Assembly seats. The election results challenge focuses on Narpatganj, Madhubani, Mohiuddinnagar, and Tekari constituencies.
RJD’s Manish Yadav filed a petition against newly elected BJP MLA Devyanti Yadav from Narpatganj. In Madhubani, RLJP candidate Ganesh Kumar Mehran challenged the victory of Madhav Anand, who contested from RLMO.
From Mohiuddinnagar, RJD candidate Dr. Ijya Yadav moved the court against BJP MLA Rajesh Kumar Singh. In Tekari, HAM candidate Dr. Anil Kumar challenged the win of RJD MLA Ajay Kumar.
The Patna High Court has taken the first step in two of these cases. Justice Shashi Bhushan Prasad Singh issued a notice to the MLA from Narpatganj. Justice Ashok Kumar Pandey issued a notice to the Madhubani MLA. The remaining petitions are under process.
These legal challenges may lead to a deeper review of the election process in the four constituencies. All petitions were filed by Advocate Avnish Kumar.
