The Nitish government will seize Lalu Yadav’s property linked to the ₹950 crore fodder scam. Samrat Chaudhary said agencies like the ED and CBI have already attached several assets of the RJD chief. Therefore, the state plans to use these properties for public benefit.
Moreover, he mentioned a building near Chidiyakana that has remained locked for almost 20 years. If the government renovates it and opens a school, local people will benefit. At the same time, he said, it will send a strong message against crime.
The Home Minister made these remarks during the Zee Bihar Samvad programme. He said the government has launched a strict campaign against criminals and the mafia. As a result, honest citizens need not fear anyone.
In addition, Chaudhary announced fast-track trials for serious cases. Courts will punish offenders within three to six months. Criminals will go to jail, and the state will confiscate illegal property.
