Nitish 7 Nishchay Part 3 has officially begun, setting a clear roadmap for Bihar’s development from 2025 to 2030. The plan was approved in a state cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. With this, the government aims to transform Bihar’s economy and quality of life over the next five years.
Under Nitish 7 Nishchay Part 3, the state targets doubling employment and per capita income. An investment of ₹50 lakh crore is planned to create one crore jobs. Special focus will be given to women’s employment. Financial support under women-centric schemes will rise up to ₹2 lakh to help them start or expand work.
The plan also aims to turn Bihar into the technology and industrial hub of Eastern India. New industrial areas will be developed in every district. Closed sugar mills will restart, and 25 new mills will be set up. Local products will get strong export support.
Farmers will also benefit. A new agricultural roadmap, including a dedicated makhana plan, will boost incomes. Dairy, fisheries, irrigation, and Sudha sales centres in every panchayat will strengthen rural livelihoods.
