The woman married Dev Bharti in 2022 after losing her first husband. At that time, she had been dismissed from service. Dev supported her emotionally and financially during that difficult phase.
After her police job was restored in 2023, her behaviour reportedly changed. Dev claims she began avoiding him and spent long hours speaking to another man on the phone.
According to Dev, tensions increased at home. One argument turned violent, and he suffered a serious head injury. After that incident, the couple started living separately.
Recently, Dev visited the police training centre at Nathnagar to meet her. She refused to recognize him and denied the marriage in front of officials.
Left with no option, Dev approached the SSP office carrying wedding photographs and videos as proof. Police officials advised him to seek legal remedy through the court.
The constable has not responded publicly to the allegations so far.
