Guntur: Narasaropet MP Lavu Sri Krishna Devarayalu said that supporting service organizations that help the underprivileged is everyone’s responsibility.
He spoke at the inauguration of the compound wall at Carmel Seva Sadan in Gorantla, Guntur. He praised founder Jack Clamacas for serving hundreds of mentally challenged people for more than three decades by providing shelter, food, and care. The MP assured that along with the government, he would also extend full cooperation to such institutions that work for the needy.
MLC K.S. Laxman Rao, Dr. Bommidala Sri Krishna Murthy, Guntur Mayor Kovelamudi Ravindra, and Peddi Reddy Gopal Reddy attended the event. They lauded the sacrifices and efforts of service organizations.
Speakers noted that many institutions in Guntur are offering multifaceted services. With united support, these organizations can achieve even better results. They urged society to draw inspiration from Jack Clamacas’ dedication to service. On this occasion, several service groups were also felicitated. The meeting was presided over by Janachaitanya Vedika State President Vallam Reddy Laxman Reddy.
