Rabri Devi Residence Vacated at Night Triggers BJP Attack on Lalu Family

Rabri Devi residence vacated at night in Patna

The Rabri Devi residence vacated at night has triggered a fresh political controversy in Bihar. The BJP accused the Lalu Prasad Yadav family of secretly moving out of the government bungalow in Patna under the cover of darkness.

BJP leaders claimed that household items were shifted late at night from the official residence at 10 Circular Road. They questioned why the move did not take place during daytime if everything was legal and transparent.

According to the BJP, the government had already ordered the vacating of the bungalow. Party leaders said all citizens, including political families, must follow official rules. They alleged the midnight shifting created doubts and raised suspicions.

The residence has been occupied by the Lalu family for nearly two decades. Recently, the Bihar government allotted former chief minister Rabri Devi a new bungalow at Harding Road, following which the shifting process began.

So far, the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) has not issued a detailed statement on the allegations. However, party supporters described the BJP’s remarks as politically motivated and unnecessary.

The Rabri Devi residence vacated at night issue has once again highlighted the sharp political rivalry between the BJP and RJD in Bihar. The incident continues to draw strong reactions from both sides.
