The Nitish Government Action on Land Disputes is stepping up to ensure fair and timely resolution of land cases in Bihar. Deputy Chief Minister and Revenue Minister Vijay Sinha has instructed all revenue officers and staff to act impartially and consistently in all land matters.
Officials must follow clear guidelines when handling disputes, encroachments, land registration, patta issuance, and public land issues. They cannot show favoritism or give different orders for similar cases. Pressure from influential people should not affect decisions. The government aims to make every land case transparent and fair.
The Revenue Department’s Principal Secretary C.K. Anil has sent a directive to all district land officers and officials to strictly follow these rules. Officials who fail to comply will be held accountable.
Deputy CM Sinha said the policy is part of the government’s “Saat Nischay” initiative. Citizens must feel confident that their land and property rights are protected. This action will ensure that everyone gets equal treatment under the law, and prevent misuse of authority in land-related matters.
The Nitish Government Action on Land Disputes is expected to strengthen trust in the administration and make the process of resolving land cases faster, fairer, and more transparent.
