MRO Bribe Case created a stir after Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials trapped a Mandal Revenue Officer (MRO) while accepting a bribe from a citizen. The officer allegedly demanded money to clear a revenue-related file and provide official approval.
According to ACB officials, the complainant approached the bureau after the MRO repeatedly asked for money to complete the work. Acting on the complaint, the ACB team verified the allegations and organized a trap operation.
During the operation, officials caught the MRO red-handed while accepting the bribe amount. The team recovered the cash and collected evidence from the spot. The officer now faces charges under anti-corruption laws.
