Three friends from Bihar died in road accident in Nepal while returning from a religious trip to the famous Pashupatinath Temple. The tragic incident took place when their vehicle met with an accident on a hilly road in Nepal.
The three men had traveled from Ballia district in Bihar to Kathmandu to offer prayers at Pashupatinath Temple. After completing the temple visit, they started their return journey towards Birgunj.
While traveling on the Kulekhani–Kathmandu road, their Tata Sumo lost control near Judiakhet village. The vehicle fell into a deep gorge, causing serious injuries to all passengers. Local residents rushed to the spot and informed the police.
Rescue teams shifted the injured men to a government hospital in Hetauda. Doctors declared all three dead on arrival. The victims were identified as Gittu Kumar (also known as Samarjeet Singh), Arvind Kumar, and Rajnish Kumar, also called Golden.
The news left their families in deep shock. Relatives reached Nepal soon after getting the information. Nepal police completed the legal formalities and handed over the bodies to the families. The bodies are being brought back to Bihar for last rites.
