Eatala Rajender Urges Urgent Telangana Flood Relief

Eatala Rajender on Telangana flood relief visit

Eatala Rajender on Telangana flood relief has become a central issue after torrential rains battered multiple districts. Speaking from Hyderabad, Eatala Rajender urged the state government to treat the disaster as a humanitarian emergency. He emphasized that rainfall had surged from the usual 2–3 centimeters to a shocking 30–40 centimeters within hours, devastating thousands of acres of farmland.

Crops across lakhs of acres now lie submerged, pushing farming families into crisis. Families have been displaced, and injured residents are emerging from flood-hit areas with visible trauma.

Rajender demanded that the Chief Minister personally tour affected regions, conduct a thorough damage survey, and release immediate financial relief for farmers and displaced citizens. He also pressed for emergency systems like Hydra to be deployed and called on BJP leaders and workers to mobilize relief efforts across rain-affected districts.

“This is a moment to rise above politics and stand with the people,” he said, stressing that Telangana needs adaptive infrastructure, resilient agricultural planning, and coordinated governance. For him, the floods signal not just a temporary disaster but a warning to reimagine long-term climate and rural preparedness.
