Nitish Kumar Samriddhi Yatra reached Saran district on its fifth day, bringing a major wave of development to the region. During the visit, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar launched and laid foundation stones for projects worth around ₹540 crore, aimed at improving daily life for local people.
The Chief Minister inaugurated roads, school buildings, health facilities, drinking water schemes and power-related works. These projects focus on better connectivity, stronger public services and improved living conditions in both urban and rural areas.
While addressing a public gathering in Chhapra, the Chief Minister said the government wants development to reach every section of society. He stressed that villages and towns must grow together and promised continued support for farmers, youth and women.
Officials briefed the Chief Minister on ongoing welfare schemes. He also interacted with local residents and listened to their problems. He directed officers to resolve issues quickly and ensure timely completion of projects.
A special focus was placed on women empowerment and skill development. New initiatives were introduced to help women become financially independent and support local employment.
The Samriddhi Yatra continues across Bihar to review government work, identify gaps and speed up development. Residents in Saran welcomed the initiatives and expressed hope for faster progress in the district.
