Rohini Acharya, daughter of RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, made headlines with a striking comment while supporting her brother Tejashwi Yadav. When asked if Tejashwi should become the next Chief Minister of Bihar, she compared the issue to marriage and honeymoon. Her unusual remark quickly went viral and drew sharp reactions from BJP and JD(U) leaders.
Rohini Acharya, who recently joined Priyanka Gandhi’s Voter Rights Yatra, also launched direct attacks on PM Narendra Modi and CM Nitish Kumar. She recalled that in the 2024 elections, she contested from Saran on an RJD ticket but lost to BJP’s Rajiv Pratap Rudy.
Speaking further, Rohini accused Nitish Kumar of copying schemes originally planned by Tejashwi Yadav. She said the NDA is facing growing anger among the people of Bihar. According to her, Tejashwi had started several job creation and women empowerment initiatives, but the ruling parties were now imitating the same ideas ahead of elections. She also accused PM Modi of only making promises without delivering results. Rohini strongly asserted that this time the BJP will face a complete rejection from the people of Bihar.
