Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s Seemanchal infiltration action plan will begin after Holi in Bihar. The government has prepared a detailed strategy to stop illegal entry and remove encroachments in the border region. Officials say the Seemanchal infiltration action plan aims to strengthen national security and control demographic changes.
Shah held a high-level meeting with senior officers to review the situation in the Seemanchal districts. Authorities identified border infiltration and illegal settlements as major concerns. The government will focus on seven sensitive districts near the international border.
Security agencies, including border forces and intelligence units, will work together. They will identify infiltrators and take legal action. Teams will also remove illegal encroachments near the border areas.
Shah stressed that strict monitoring and coordination will ensure effective implementation. The campaign will start soon after Holi and continue in phases. The Centre and state administration will jointly oversee the operation to maintain law and order.
