Bihar Weather Forecast shows a change in weather as the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for thunderstorms, lightning, and rain in several districts. The Bihar Weather Forecast indicates that the weather will change from March 9 across many parts of the state.
According to the Patna Meteorological Centre, strong winds of 30–40 km/h may hit districts like Kishanganj, Araria, Supaul, and Madhubani on March 9. Thunderstorms and lightning may also occur in isolated places.
On March 10, the alert may cover more districts including Sheohar, Sitamarhi, Madhepura, Purnia, Katihar, and Kishanganj. Weather experts say thunderstorms, lightning, and light rain are likely in these areas.
By March 11, the weather system may also affect parts of south Bihar such as Kaimur, Rohtas, Aurangabad, Gaya, and Nawada. Light to moderate rainfall may occur in some places across the state.
Meanwhile, temperatures continue to rise in Bihar. Motihari recorded the highest temperature at 33.6°C, while many cities saw daytime temperatures between 30°C and 33°C.
