A shocking crime has come to light in Bihar’s capital where a bahu killed saas in Patna after a violent assault inside a house in the Phulwari Sharif area. The brutal incident has shocked local residents and raised concerns about domestic violence cases in the region.
Police said the accused daughter-in-law, identified as Gulfasha, often argued with her mother-in-law Shabrah Khatoon. Their relationship had remained tense for a long time, and disputes frequently happened in the family. The conflict reportedly led to the deadly attack.
According to investigators, Gulfasha allegedly called her mother-in-law into a room and locked the door. She stuffed cloth into the elderly woman’s mouth and poured chilli powder on her body, including sensitive parts. She then beat the victim with a rolling pin.
Family members rushed the injured woman to a nearby hospital. Doctors referred her to AIIMS, but she died on the way due to severe injuries.
Police have launched a search operation as the accused reportedly fled with her children. The bahu killed saas in Patna case remains under investigation.
