A major SVU raid at DDC Brajesh Kumar house has created a stir in Bihar. The Special Vigilance Unit (SVU) carried out searches at several locations linked to the Sheohar Deputy Development Commissioner.
Officials said the SVU raid at DDC Brajesh Kumar house is part of a disproportionate assets case. The agency registered a case after finding that he allegedly owns assets worth about ₹1.84 crore beyond his known income sources.
Teams conducted raids simultaneously in Sheohar, Sitamarhi, and Bettiah. They searched both his government office and residential premises after getting a court-approved warrant.
During the operation, officials examined documents, bank records, and property papers. The search is still ongoing, and more details may come out after the investigation.
This action is part of Bihar’s ongoing crackdown on corruption. Authorities said strict steps will follow if strong evidence is found.
