Patna: Rohini Acharya slams Samrat Chaudhary over LPG crisis as she accused the government of pushing development in reverse. The RJD leader criticized Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary after his remarks about providing coal to poor families during a shortage of cooking gas.
On social media, Rohini Acharya questioned the government’s claim that LPG supplies remain normal across the country. She said that if gas is easily available, then asking people to use coal shows policy failure. According to her, forcing citizens to return to old cooking methods reflects “reverse-gear development.”
The debate started after reports of LPG shortages in several areas. Long queues for cylinders and supply delays during the wedding season have increased public frustration.
