In the Jagatveer Murder Case, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav visited Muzaffarpur in Bihar and met the family of Jagatveer Rai, who died during a police firing incident. The Jagatveer Murder Case has sparked political tension in the state.

Tejashwi Yadav alleged that a police officer shot Jagatveer Rai while under the influence of alcohol. He also criticized the Bihar government and said law and order in the state has become weak.

The incident happened on March 17 in Chorania village of Muzaffarpur district when police arrived to arrest a suspect. A clash broke out between villagers and police during the operation. Gunfire followed, and 55-year-old farmer Jagatveer Rai was killed.

Yadav demanded the immediate arrest of those responsible. He warned that protests would begin if action is not taken soon and said the entire Muzaffarpur district could be shut down.
