Independent MP Pappu Yadav reacted to the recent political developments involving Nitish Kumar. Speaking on the issue, Pappu Yadav on Nitish Kumar resignation said the ruling alliance should keep the Chief Minister’s post with Janata Dal (United).
He said that if Nitish Kumar moves to national politics, JD(U) should select another leader as the next Chief Minister. He added that many voters supported the alliance because of Nitish Kumar. Therefore, the party should respect the public mandate.
In his remarks, Pappu Yadav on Nitish Kumar resignation also criticized the Bharatiya Janata Party. He asked why BJP leaders appear eager for a leadership change in Bihar. He warned that replacing a JD(U) leader with a BJP Chief Minister could create political tension.
The debate started after Nitish Kumar resigned from the Bihar Legislative Council. The move followed his election to the Rajya Sabha. Now, many political leaders discuss who will lead the Bihar government next.
