Model School Teacher Selection in Bihar: Candidates Must Score 100 Marks and Face Interview

Model School Teacher Selection in Bihar new teacher recruitment process with 100 marks and interview

Model School Teacher Selection in Bihar will follow a strict evaluation system. The education department has decided that candidates must score up to 100 marks and also attend an interview to become teachers in these schools. The new system aims to select qualified and capable teachers for model schools across the state.

Under the Model School Teacher Selection in Bihar, applicants will be evaluated on several factors. These include academic qualifications, teaching experience, previous performance, and a personal interview. Authorities plan to recruit about 153 teachers through this process in district model schools.

Marks will be divided into different categories. Academic qualifications can give candidates up to 40 marks. Teaching experience can add 30 marks. The interview will carry 20 marks and will test the candidate’s knowledge, skills, and suitability for teaching.

A five-member committee will conduct the interview. The panel will include the Deputy Development Commissioner, District Education Officer, and other education officials nominated by the District Magistrate. Candidates must also submit verified documents for their claims.

The department has also set an age limit. Applicants must be under 50 years of age as of March 31, 2026.
