The Bihar government has announced a major initiative to ensure Engineering and Polytechnic Graduates Guaranteed Jobs in the state. Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary said the government plans to strengthen placement systems in technical institutions so that Engineering and Polytechnic Graduates Guaranteed Jobs becomes a practical reality for students completing their studies.
Chaudhary chaired a review meeting of the Science, Technology and Technical Education Department. He directed officials to create equal placement opportunities in all government engineering colleges and polytechnic institutes across Bihar. He also encouraged healthy competition among institutions to improve job placements.
The government will also focus on improving academic quality, infrastructure, and national rankings of technical institutions. Officials have been asked to secure accreditation from bodies such as the National Board of Accreditation in mission mode.
The department is also considering appointing young professionals to strengthen institutional efficiency and support students’ career development. Authorities said the initiative will help boost technical education and employment opportunities for youth in Bihar.
