Dog Terror in Muzaffarpur shocked residents after stray dogs attacked and killed a one-and-a-half-year-old girl in a village of Bihar’s Muzaffarpur district. Locals say stray dogs roam freely in the area and often attack people. Dog Terror in Muzaffarpur has raised serious safety concerns among villagers.
The incident took place in Raja Punas village under the Ahiyapur police station area. The toddler, Rukmini Kumari, was playing outside her home on Thursday morning. A group of five to six stray dogs suddenly attacked her.
The dogs dragged the child toward nearby fields. Family members and villagers rushed to the spot and rescued her. She had many serious bite injuries.
Her family immediately took her to Sri Krishna Medical College and Hospital. Doctors could not save her and declared her dead.
Villagers say stray dogs have bitten many people in recent days. Around 40 people have already suffered injuries. Angry residents now demand strict action to control the stray dog menace.
