Shekhar Yadav arrested for threatening Bihar CM Samrat Choudhary after police traced his location in Gujarat. The accused allegedly called the chief minister’s residence and issued a death threat, which alerted the police and security agencies.
Police identified the suspect as Shekhar Yadav, a resident of Banka district in Bihar. Investigators tracked his mobile phone location to Sanand in Gujarat. A joint operation by Bihar Police and Gujarat Police led to his arrest.
Officials said the accused worked in a private company in Gujarat. After the arrest, police started legal procedures to bring him back to Bihar for questioning and further investigation.
Police are now trying to find out the reason behind the threat against Bihar CM Samrat Choudhary. Security agencies remain alert while officers continue the investigation.
