A shocking incident took place in Siwan where a groom stabs aunt to death over jewelry gift dispute during a wedding celebration. The tragedy happened in Olipur village under the GB Nagar Police Station area and turned a happy occasion into mourning.

According to reports, groom stabs aunt to death over jewelry gift dispute after a heated argument broke out among family members about jewelry meant as a wedding gift for the bride’s side. The quarrel quickly turned violent when the groom lost control and attacked his aunt with a knife. She died on the spot due to severe injuries.

When relatives tried to stop the attack, the accused also stabbed several of them. At least five to six family members suffered injuries and rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Police reached the scene soon after receiving the information. Officers sent the body for post-mortem and began an investigation. The accused fled the spot after the attack, and police teams are conducting raids to arrest him.

Authorities say the violence started as a family dispute during wedding preparations and quickly escalated into a deadly crime.
